Why RAISE $1.5M?

Churches will typically aim to raise an additional

2-3x their annual budget (over multiple years) for an expanded vision like this one. That is what we are praying the Lord will do in this case. Ultimately, this number is a prayer request and a "target." It would be incredible to see the Lord provide us with these resources for the advance of the gospel in our community! But whatever he provides, we will receive with grateful hearts and put it to use to the best of our ability, making much of King Jesus.

The Breakdown:
A 90/10 split

While a new building may be one part of the outcome of this vision, the ultimate goal is not just to find more space for our church, but to multiply more healthy congregations across the Greater Milwaukee area. In other words, the reason we are seeking more space is to make more disciples who will gather with us weekly, so we can then send out more members to multiply healthy congregations.

For this reason, we are devoting 10% of all initiative funds to our next church planting project. If we reach our goal of raising $1.5M, then by the end of this initiative we would have $150,000.00 set aside for our next church planting team.

Our options

For acquiring more space

The METHOD:

One vision. One fund.

We do not see this vision as something "extra," but as a very natural next step in our church's mission to worship God, make disciples, and multiply congregations. For that reason, we will incorporate all initiative giving into our annual operating budget, along with our normal offerings. From there, it's pretty simple: at the end of each month, everything given over and above our actual monthly expenses will be transferred to a separate account devoted to this initiative. This is a sustainable way to connect this initiative giving to our overall mission and purpose.
